Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I'm Subashini ,all through my life I have been restricting my loved ones from devouring delicacies that are fatty or sugary.Though I do it with a lot of reluctance it leaves me feeling terribly guilty, that's when it occurred to me that I need to cook food that not only satisfies taste buds but it should also be a healthy indulgence.I used to experiment with my minimal culinary skills during my childhood days but never really bothered about the amount of fat or sugars that go into my preparations as long as they tasted good.We all know that invariant ingredients like fat, sugar, cream, butter, cheese etc etc by default will definitely add that extra bit of taste ,however the challenge is to keep all of these unhealthy ingredients at bay and prepare delicacies without any compromise in taste or texture. This involves careful choice of substitutes and modifications to the actual receipe and Im glad to be trying my best with each recipe and I owe it to my hubby dear who is a very good food critic.
The compliments and the encouragement that you receive from your loved ones for the additional effort that you take to ensure that the outcome is as healthy as possible is something that keeps you going even if it requires you to sacrifice some of your personal time.Being a working mom weekends are what I look foward, to spend time with my precious son and he finds it most irritating to find me in the kitchen and its even more disappointing for me when he express his priorty list where eating is no where in it.However I still manage to find some time to squeeze into the kitchen while he is asleep or when he is busy playing with his Dadda or grandparents, hoping someday he would also appreciate and relish my preparations.
I hope you find these receips useful and I would be more than happy to hear from you..Please do post your valuable comments/feedback !!
